Posting on another thread I realised that not many in Auld Reekie would probably be aware that in June/July the Copa America is on in Argentina and Colombia.
Australia have been invited to compete in it (they invite one non south American country each time) and have drawn Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia and Uruguay in their group.
Boyler is seen very much a part of the plans for this and barring injury or a dramatic loss of form, he will undoubtedly be on the Buenos Aries bound plane.
So Argentina v Australia WILL take place and a Martin Boyle v Lionel Messi showdown could indeed occur.

A good tournament for him would no doubt raise his price tag and interest from other clubs. Will be entering the final year of his contract so hopefully we can add another year or two onto that to get as much money as we can if we were to sell.
