Now that we've completed 2 full decades of derby matches, whats the win, lose & draw stats for this particular century to date?

I'd imagine they won't make great reading. I'd be more interested to see the record since Romanov left.

Since both teams were relegated i think it's something like Hibs 7 wins 5 draws and 5 defeats in all competitions

hibs wins - 21
hearts wins - 31
draws - 25

Not great, but the post Romanov stats (ie when hearts stopped living in financial fantasy land) are much better

Since Relegation it's 7 wins, 7 draws and 5 defeats

On another note does anyone know what the bottom of the league has looked going into the new year over the last 5 or 6 years?

I think they said on today's TV coverage that the bottom team at Christmas has ended up being relegated the last 8 seasons.

I still don't think Hearts will get relegated though.

Certainly a lot better than the previous 2 decades:

From season 79/80 to 98/99 it was 8 wins, 24 draws and 29 defeats - didn't realise it was so bad and no wonder I dreaded derbies!

‘ That is the first time we have won two derbies in a row at Tynie since before you were born apparently!’

Is that right? I was born in ‘85

Although we have a winning record from season 1919/20 to 1982/3 with 53 wins, 36 draws and 50 defeats!
