Fallon wins 3-1. What a performance from her, she played brilliantly.

As darts throws off the last claims of machismo, this girl really has the crowd on her side, and who ever eventually beats her will have to content with a partisan crowd as well as her obvious ability. In an ideal world, i would like to see her beat Gerwin Price who while being the Ice Man , also has turbo-charged Wee-Man syndrome.

[QUOTE=Sir David Gray;6025182]Anderson through 4-3 against Ryan Searle after being 3-1

Searle lost that rather than Anderson won it. Don't think that Gary is a serious contender this year and maybe will be happy to get through the next game and write it off as a decent effort considering his circumstances.

It's between Van Gerwen and Price this year in my opinion although Price will have to up his game from his first match. He really could easily have gone out the other day.

I agree, the only dark horse is Durrant.

If he gets to play his own game then he has a chance. If he is up against some power scoring like in the World Matchplay Semi Finals , he might come up a bit short.

    Anderson out.
    Only got himself to blame.

Wright a lucky boy. Cruising at 3-0 up v De Zwaan but then took the foot off the gas and got pegged back to 3-3. Eventually pulled through 4-3.

Just watched it, entertaining stuff, thought he was going to chuck it (pardon the pun)!

Gerwin Price complaining about Whitlock slowing down the game. It worked for him against Gary Anderson albeit it cost him a 20K fine.

Wright and Aspinall through this afternoon.

Van Gerwen's just lost the first set to Darius Labanauskas. I can't see anything other than a Van Gerwen win though. The winner will play Aspinall in the semis.

Durrant and Price later tonight and the winner will play Wright.

Van Gerwen wins 5-2 but didn't play anywhere near his best.

A better player would have really had a chance tonight.

Awesome display by Price. Can't see Wright stopping him in this form.

Really tough one to call. Looking like a cracker already

Getting a bit tasty. Wright had a bit of a go at Price after winning the first set and then Price gave it back and then some after taking the second set.

Sets it up quite nicely for the rest of the match!

Price's charm offensive is going well....

  23. #52
Wright 4-3 up but probably should be a lot further ahead. Price hasn't really turned up so far apart from a few flashes.

  24. #53
    All over now, 5-3 Wright.

No way Price will win the last 3 sets, he's been crap.

  25. #54
    6-3 Wright, well deserved.

Graceless fanny walking off knowing that he can't blame anyone else but himself.

Did Price shake hand there or just walk straight off?

Wasn't a great match really. Scrappy stuff for long spells.

Hard to tell as the camera shot was inconclusive but didn't look like it.

EDIT - Sky's just said there was no handshake, poor show.

How hard is it to show a bit of basic sportsmanship in a darts match. Good riddance

Price is a total dick and one of the reasons I no longer watch darts. Delighted to read he's out.
