Jack Ross - Finally A Manager Who Dresses Like A Hibs Manager Should

It would have been a tragedy had he gone to Hearts. The Jakey they have fits them perfectly.

No Hibs fan now has any excuse to let sartorial standards slip.

It's ironic really, when Tynecastle could easily be called Savile Row!

Hopefully, his reign will see the grey marl jogger's disappearance from ER.

He could wear a tutu in the dug up for all I care

As long as we play attractive attacking football (the hibs way) and win games

I thought the brown Chelsea boots he wore at his unveiling hit the wrong note, but I can forgive this small faux pas as he was just in the door and it perhaps takes a little while to appreciate our expectations.

    Overall he is en point.

    Such low standards.

The fact that you called it the Dug Up and not the Dug Out tells us everything we need to know about you.

Personally I'm a bit unhappy with the '2 sports coat' policy he seems to prefer in wet weather.

A Crombie coat paired with a black umbrella with classic crooked wooden handle would be far more Hibernian. A subtle pinstripe in the umbrella would elevate the look further.

Under no circumstances should an umbrella be seen in a football dugout. Steve Maclaren found out the hard way!

He was signalling that he wants us to play like Chelsea eventually but that there's a long way to go.

I’m actually surprised at the lack of threads/praise Ross has had in general.

How he comes across, the composure and analysis of the games after and most importantly getting us winning games with the added bonus of good football.

The loss of points against Kilmarnock and County are blows, but to me that’s the players and nothing to do with the manager. I’m positive with time and a transfer window he will get the the right mentality and people in to hold onto leads and dominate teams more when they have the ball.

I said he was the man for the job when the position was available and everything iv seen so far has convinced me it was the right appointment. I’m very excited about his appointment and where he can take us.

Brilliant dress sense too as you say

Agree. Adding to his admittedly dapper dress sense, something just feels right about him at the club. As much as I wanted him to work, never had that feeling with Hecky. Think we have a good one here.

Now Walter Galbraith really was dapper. If Jack Ross could unearth some players like Walter did I'd be very happy.

Pencil moustache, raincoat, trilby.................and he ran off to Accrington with the petty cash I believe. We don't want Arthur Daley types here.

However he left behind Hamilton,Quinn,Martin and Parke so we can forgive him.

The new Jumbo Gaffer looks like he's had a few years too many hanging around the Reeperbhan.... Deary me, he's a shambles and no dress sense.

I've seen pictures of the suave Clark Gable look alike. Impressive.

Pat Stanton described him as a matinee idol.

Pre match preparation involved Walter arriving at five to three combing his hair at the mirror and turning to the team and giving a rousing speech of "everything alright?"

    Hibs Class.
