I cannot stand them. Horrible club, awful stadium and awful fans.

I really want us to beat them and show them up, our record against them lately has been nowhere near good enough and we need to really kick on now and start competing with them.

The majority of their starting line up will be over 6 ft - Lewis, Taylor, McKenna, Considine, Ferguson, Vyner, Leigh and Cosgrove are all big guys so we will need to be very wary of set pieces.

It will be a tough game, physical and we will be made to defend long balls and a high press which doesn’t suit us unfortunately.

For me, wide men will be important to stop the ball coming into box so easily as if we play narrow Logan and Considine will chuck it in at every opportunity.

Logan is there to be got at as is Taylor, both are prone to errors and are clumsy.

We need to get our game plan and mentality spot on for this one.

What we thinking? I think a 451 with that team

    .....................Marciano...............

    Naismith...Porteous...Hanlon.....Stevenson....

    .............Mallan........Hallberg......

    Boyle................Allan.............Kamberi.... .

    ......................Doidge.........

For me a diamond with those players wouldn’t have the right balance.

Don’t fancy the Mallan / Allan combo vs. Aberdeen.

    ...............Lewis............

    Logan....Taylor...McKenna....Considine..

    .............Vyner...Leigh....

    Wilson.......Ferguson......Gallagher..

    .................Cosgrove......

Same as how they started the other night. Wouldn’t be surprised if Leigh played on the left, Ferguson dropped deeper and Gallagher played off Cosgrove as they did second half v Rangers.

6 defenders starting for them tells us all we need to know

That puts paid to the myth that Marciano wasn’t being played for financial reasons, it would seem.

We're going to get murdered in midfield.

I guess looking on the bright side, Jack Ross learns a lesson today.

Not happy with that team at all.

    It does.
There is a story but as usual we are left guessing what it is.
    Next stop January.

Neither can I, could have brought Jackson in to deal with their aerial threats.

Whatever the midfield set up we concede goals. Just go for it.

0-2 too many crosses into box and we wont deal with their physicality, timewasting or gamesmanship.... going to be dire if we let them dictate the game...

Mallon is useless and a liability in this position. Have we not learned this over the past season!!!!???

Ross is going to find out the hard way that Mallan and Allan can't play together.
