Me too. Not sure if I can use the excuse of chopping onions.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

....... and I’m sure he’ll still prefer it to the eventual photo of him lifting the FA Cup for one of the big English clubs.

Quoted for truth. A true, true legend, in the Pantheon 🏛 of Hibs greats.

Surely a future inductee to the Hibernian Hall of Fame? Greatest Hibs player I've seen in my lifetime.

Brilliant, if for nothing else it will remind folk all over the UK that Hibs and Scottish football in general actually exists.

As for SJM himself ... A legend pure and simple who quite clearly will never forget where he came from, be that St Mirren or Hibs no matter how far he goes in the game.

    Something in my eye

One of my favourite ever players.

The man is proof that it’s possible to be a modern football player and a decent human being. Used to sing the McGinn song to get my daughter to sleep in her cot.

I love this man end off 💚💚

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

McGinn just seems like a really nice, decent guy. Even if he hadn't played for Hibs I still think he's the type of player I'd want to see doing well down in England.

Idiots at the BBC won't allow it to be played outwith the UK. Honestly, to stop what?

I saw him walking down the road with a pal in Bearsden, not long after the cup win. I had to be restrained by my wife from running out of the restaurant we we were in to go and fangirl him.

Sunshine on Leith belting out at Hampden
Imagine being a Rangers player listening to
that belting out as you lay on a stretcher in the battlefield clearing station in the bowels of Hampden
All wishing their ambulance would hurry up and get them
    away from that din.

I've seen more talented players in a Hibs jersey (very few mind) but in terms of ability, work ethic and drive I'm struggling to think of any better. Added to that he's a genuinely nice, down to earth guy. We were lucky to have him, a true Hibs legend who deserves everything he is getting.

The legend that is John McGinn. What a man! So grateful he graced the Easter Road turf for the length of time he did. Deserves all the success that's coming his way.

I get that but they need to get that nonsense sorted in these social media days. It was three years ago and the cup final can be found on YouTube any time someone wants to watch it again. It's absurd.....
