    Worked a dream!
Got my 2 tickets, left to make a cup of coffee, then came back and paid for them 15 minutes later ;). Excellent stuff!

Just goes to prove that fans aren’t yet being chased away with £34 ticket prices. It’s blackmail in a way playing on fans loyalty to their club, but just means that those prices will continue for the foreseeable future.

So at £34 quid per adult we've practically sold out? I'm flabbergasted 🤔😂

Great effort from the fans again.
Aye outstanding effort, their mob didn't even sell out the first derby this season and we've sold all our tickets in under 45 minutes

Last time we won two consecutive derbies at Tynecastle was 1971 - good luck everyone!

Hmm it shows as "There are not enough seats available in this block." when I try to add a ticket, so seems like they are sold out.

You should keep trying until the match is removed from the ticket site. Tickets get locked in baskets for about 30 minutes before getting released.

We managed to get two, which is great, having missed out several times lately. It's just luck, isn't it? No point re-kindling the loyalty points debate again, but there really should be a better way.

Agreed, I also completely understand why the ones who don’t get tickets can be very annoyed if they have been kicked out ect.

I always seem to get lucky and haven’t missed a derby there since the 2-2 game. Today I went from being logged on the system at 12 o’clock, got kicked out and had over 1500 in front of me, got through on the phone around 20 past 12 and was told there was no tickets available (assume they were in everyone’s baskets) as soon as I was off the phone I got 2 tickets which I then got timed out and lost them, continue pressed find tickets until about 20 to 1 and I managed to get 2 together.

I was lucky but if I hadn’t got tickets today I wouldn’t of been happy

Great updates to Ticketmaster. Much better process. Well done Hibs.

    Hearts mess up again.
Sold the tickets far too cheapy .
Think they should try £39 next time.
Plenty more wonga in this fixture.

Totally agree .. The whole process was easier than the old system.

My first visit to Tynecastle was for SC win in 1971 and I remember a 2 v 0 win in league in Aug / Sep about then ( late Cropley double ) so suppose it was 1971 too . In 60s / early 70s think our Derby record was actually better at Tynie than at Holy Ground though throughout 70s a draw was considered a defeat at either ground .

A bigger away end would be the only better way

What about playing at Murrayfield at 3 pm on New Year`s Day every year ? Home team keep gate receipts and split TV money ( negotiate TV money separately from other league matches as there could be extra demand in middle of winter breaks in other countries ) . Reasonable prices to attract fans of both clubs plus New Year visitors . Could still play for a trophy in years in which Hearts are in lower division .

There's no scope for a separate TV deal otherwise the OF would have done that for their 4 games 25 years ago.
All TV monies are centrally pooled then split according to league position.

However moving one match per year (alternate years home matches) to Murrayfield could be done but only with SPFL approval. You'd be relying on the other clubs approving it.

Would work better as split ticket revenue 50-50 as that would mitigate huge numbers of away fans not wanting to help the opposition financially. Essentially losing one home/away match every alternate year for a fixed annual neutral contest.

I still doubt whether the majority of Hibs ST holders would appreciate one less match at ER to satisfy day-trippers and tourists.

Derbies should be at Easter Road and Tynecastle. Not a rugby ground that would be about half empty. Atmosphere would be ****.

Quite, a missed opportunity I think. I'll be looking for Hibs to really knock the arse out the reverse fixture, £34 a ticket. For concessions.

A derby with a maximum of about 30,000 at most rattling about Murrayfield would hold little appeal.

Been told tickets are being sold on social media sites for up to £150? Has anyone seen anything? Out of order if true.

This game already has warning signs all over it for Hibs. They haven't won since when? (!!) We love to gift leads. You can see what's coming.
