The guy has put in a hard shift for his club.
Sounds like he is handing over to Cormack to do the heavy lifting of attracting investment for the building of the new stadium.

They are effectively under new American ownership, as we are. I assume Cormack will either take the role himself or appoint someone to act for him.
Exciting times for scottish football, although Aberdeen will be distracted by their new stadium plans for a while.

Be interesting to see how this plays out for McInnes. He's stated his relationship with Milne wa sine of the reasons he has turned down other offers in the past.

I've met Stewart Milne a couple of times. A real down to earth man who had AFC's interests at heart.
He's been there a long time and has invested lots. Now that they have a secure future maybe he's decided that it's time to move on.

Falling value of the £ makes such investments more attractive to foreign buyers.

From what I’ve heard the fall in the value of the Pittodrie site C£20m has messed their original financial considerations. Cormack plans to clear whole board and totally takeover the club.

Milne appears to have been fantastic for Aberdeen. Attracted inward investment at a level Hibs can aspire to, built up a solid foundation on and off the field and retained a decent manager. The one thing they've failed to do is win trophies. A league cup, and a fair few runners up medals. Should have done better and now that the Hun are back as a force, probably missed the boat on that one now.
