Welcome JP! (which will be my preferred name for you given the other associations to your surname).

I've said it before but i think this could be the start of something good. Less bullcrap than the previous management team by listening to them. John Potter sounds like he doesn't take any noncence. Roll on the start of a new era on Saturday!

I always thought Stockdale seemed very quietly spoke and soft, I could never imagine him commanding a changing room.
I never took to Gary Parker at all, I thought he was like a mumbling tramp to be honest.
I know what I’m saying probably doesn’t stand up to any scrutiny as there’s plenty softly spoken good managers out there and being hard isn’t any prerequisite for success, it’s just my initial impression from listening to Ross and Potter though that I think they seem quite switch on and authoritative.

Bit harsh on Stockdale, came across well in STID and he spoke well, if a little too soft for your liking 😉

That podcast with Si Ferry and Paul slane used to describe Heckingbottom as a mouse and that’s the impression I got about Stockdale too.
I think we’ll start to see characters about the place again, I think Heckingbottom and Stockdale would struggle to manage people with big personalities. That’s based on very little tbf so it could be utter bollocks.

On the Si Ferry podcast aired yesterday, Si said he expected Ian Murray to join us in some capacity (even with porter arriving)
Anyone in the know about this? Si also called the Ross appointment a couple of weeks ago

Although I am not a fan of Jack Ross style I have liked what both him and JP have said and feel it is a massive improvement on what we had , so onwards and hopefully upwards ,Welcome to the club we love
