The modern game has basically become a rigged monopoly with glass ceilings in just about every domestic league. In terms of club history, Hibs' is far more prized than Palace, QPR or Cardiff's. Not even a question about it.
But less than Aberdeen's then if you follow that line of logic?

Heckingbottom was the 2nd coming, yet Warnock is a dinosaur?

    Lets looks at their records.

Much of a muchness if you look over the entire span of both club's histories.

Aberdeen had an extremely successful 1980s and haven't done much outwith that. They didn't win a trophy for the first 43 years of their existence. They've gone decades now without anything other than a League Cup win that was won on penalties against Caley.

If you compare the stats, 4 league titles apiece, with them being notably more successful in terms of the cups (about twice as much in both). Fairly similar European records (Hibs with arguably more famous upsets and results but Aberdeen with the trophy that gives them the edge). Then you take into equation Hibs' larger attendances and greater cultural significance, I'd say it's very even.

I think they've moved on to listening to CDs in most parts of Yorkshire now.

Warnock has a good record when making unfashionable clubs competitve. It wouldn't be pretty to watch and he's such a welt, but I think he would get results. Don't think it will happen.

Neil Warnock is and will always be a better manager than Heckingbottom, someone we had the bad fortune to employ recently.

Warnock's maybe not not as nice a guy, and wont use technology much either, but i'd take him every day over someone who might speak properly and know a spreadsheet.

    Who has said otherwise?

If our aim for next manager is ‘better than Hecky’ we are setting the bar pretty low.

Warnock has a better record than anyone whos been mentioned so far, lets hope we appoint someone nearer Warnocks ability than hecky then.

A friend who is a QPR fan said this about Warnock..."He is the only manager to win eight promotions in the professional English leagues. I think this record is more a result of team organisation rather than entertainment.

In his one full Season at QPR he took the gamble of building a team around one midfielder, the talented Adel Taarabt. The gamble paid off & the team won the League."

Warnock would take great delight in noising up the old firm.
