Imagine how good he would be if used as a sole striker and didn't have to share the chances!

    Delighted for him.

    He deserves those goals.

For all the struggles he was having up to now he was always working away and trying to be involved. Hopefully this is the start of him showing what he's all about.

He can have a couple of bottles of Merlot on me tonight . Hopefully this is the start of Doidge the goal machine getting into gear

Has had loads of unfair criticism from posters on here and at games so glad to see him get the 3 goals today

Delighted for Doidge, hope he carries on the good work from today. Most pleasing.

Pleased for the big lad. Keep working away and hopefully the rewards will come.

Been a critic of him, but if there’s ever a way to announce yourself then it’s that. Here’s hoping this is the start of something special

He's had a lot of criticism, from me included, especially for his misses during the Aberdeen game.

So it's a nice change to offer the lad some praise this week. Well done to him and all the team, and the guys in temporary charge.

Always thought there might be a striker in there lols. I think its notable that May chose to play Doidge today as part of a pair with Kamberi. Something many of us were shouting for but Hecks for some reason refused to countenance. Well done Doidge - may they be the first of many!

Buzzing for Doidge, can never say his attitude could be questioned but this is hopefully the lift he needs.

    Brilliant today

Thought he was awful & would be moved on; so happy to be completely wrong. Again.

I had a fiver on him at 150/1 to score a hat trick

Said on another thread a few weeks back I thought he’d do well in a 2 with Kamberi. Hopefully that’s just the start of a good partnership and Flo gets on the goal trail too.

Both strikers played brilliant today. Some of his previous criticism was IMO merited, but that was some statement this afternoon from big Doidge But no point raking over the coals of previous negativity, your Hibs career starts now Christian, well done!

That level of strategy is too complex for the simple Scottish game.

A lot of it has been fair. Today he got a standing ovation, which was also fair. Folk will be positive and support them when there is something there to support.
