St Johnstone unchanged for 3rd game running. Wotherspoon and Kennedy start. Craig and Swanson on bench.

Two up top. James dropped for Naismith and would you believe it? Mallan benched

Players being played in natural positions. That’ll never catch on.

Mallan paying the price as well.

No Vela in the squad either. Big opportunity today for Newell.

Vela injured or dropped all together?

I'm pretty much in tears (of joy) at seeing 2 up front.

The only difference I'd have made to that lineup is Whittaker or James in midfield in place of Newell. The rest checks out.

Hopefully we can see more from Newell today - other than that I'm happy with this team.

    2 up front.
    Vela out the squad
    Mallan finally dropped

    Someone pinch me!

Happy with that apart from Newell.

Is this a diamond with Newell behind the strikers?

Would imagine a diamond with Allan behind the strikers, Newell from the left, Slivka from the right. Hallberg deepest

I'd rather Mallan in place of Newell but it's a big chance for the guy to show his worth and I hope he takes it.

That looks like a diamond in midfield to me Hallberg holding , Slivka right , Newall left and Allan up top. I think I like it but will wait and see how it goes. Pleased Vela is nowhere near and Mallan on bench and 2 up front , much more like a Hibs line up.

  24. #23
2 up front at last. Options from bench as well

Nice one Eddie I hope this works for all our sakes. Is certainly along the lines I would be going.

Currently on train to London then off to Vegas so keeping close eye on this thread today.

I have feeling Doidge is going to do some damage today........ To Row Z. Joke aside 2 goals from Doidge you heard it here first.

Following the departure of Paul Heckingbottom and Robbie Stockdale, Eddie May will take charge on an interim basis - supported by Grant Murray and Eddie May.

I take it they mean SW

He deserves a chance as much as anyone in a different shape under different coaches. Hibs 2/1 is a very good price after seeing the team.
