He had them top of the league last season and a SC final, he's been sacked because they are bottom of the league with 1 win to their name this season
They also haven't won a home game in 6 months.

His run stretches back to around November last year, after they lost the LC semi.

If it makes you feel better though you can pretend it’s purely based on this season.

If they had won more games this season and were higher up the table you still think he'd have sacked himself?

It depends how many games and how much higher - they’ve been on a bad run for a full year now. Let that sink in - 12 months.

He also survived because he won more games against us than he lost, even with that ***** team.

Im glad he's gone. It means they'll no longer put all their energy into that one fixture.

Yet was very successful on a more comparable budget to us and in the same country as we play in.
He won the first division with St mirren on a bigger budget than most in the league on the starting point that they invested heavily the season before in January to claw back the gap at the bottom.. He unproven in the Premier

Looks like Stephen Robinson is their preferred choice. That's fine, because he wouldn't be mine (and my previous posts back this up, before you ask).

Can’t stand that bit of spit he has in his lips when he’s talking! Really annoys me for some reason. Definitely Hearts class that!

And in that time Killie have won twice at Tynecastle against their own 1 league win at Tynecastle.

It’s a sad state of affairs where we’re debating which is the poorer team and which manager is least competent.

Current times are bad and typically, the Jambos grasped their opportunity and kicked us in the nuts by sacking Levein, our best chance of having the last laugh at them this season is bulleted - what next, will they go for Stubbs to twist-the-knife ?

Budge chucks people out that use foul language. No chance.

It will be Neil McCann or Pressley with MacPhee as assistant so the Japanese guy stays and the website keeps getting hits.

Jack Ross attracting by far the most wager money and clear favourite at around 2/1. Next best Gary Holt 4/1, Scott Gemmil 7/1 Davie Moyes 8/1, Robbie (money spinner) Neilson 10/1, Stuart McCall 12/1 and Michael O'Neill 16/1.

    According to Oddschecker.

I was going by what I was reading on Oddschecker.

Must have recently been added into the frame. Keane would be a bit of a coup to be fair.

As many have pointed out Hearts have at least made a decision not sure I agree with the timing just before the semi final. We mean while have done nothing unless we are waiting till after the semi final

He has fairly defined duties he is no longer DOF and it is only a youth set up thing he will be involved with.

Even if it is just working on the youth set-up that's still a role where some important decisions on club's future can be made and I just don't understand why he is being allowed to retain such an input. A new guy is surely going to want to clear the decks and do things his way without his predecessor having a say.

I'm guessing the main reason they're keeping him on until next summer is because they can't afford a lump sum of compensation and would rather pay him monthly until his contract's up.

The idea that Budge thinks she could manage Roy Keane is a glorious one. The guy is a bomb liable to go off at any moment. I’d be quite happy for him to go there.

They could still pay him monthly on gardening leave.

Keane would be box office. I'd be gutted if they got him.

I’ve already said Keane would be ideal for us.

I think he’s exactly the type of character we need. Would also be gutted if they got him.

Would be like when we got Lennon × 10. Always thought he might fancy Hibs or Hearts as would struggle to get a good Championship job. Would galvanize everyone...initially anyway

Keane's an arse. Has he ever been successful in any management role he's done?

He was relatively successful at Sunderland and there is a decent number of fans who would take him back there.
