It's quite a small statement compared to her usual long winded BS.
Given the timing... Saturday evening after yet another defeat... it was definitely a rush job to appease the mob.

Maybe McPhee was getting one last chance?

It’s all about Boxing Day, win that and we have them exactly where we want them.
The good thing is JR is familiar with the new manager's tactics and approach. Can't wait.

They play St Johnstone next, the announcement has been made now to give him his best chance of starting with a win. If they had announced before the Motherwell game they'd be facing one of the in form sides in the league and would probably seen a defeat for his first game in charge. That is a gamble though and if they get beat at Home to the Perth saints it will be a worse start than getting beat off the 3rd placed team in the league. Remember St Johnstones last win was against the gorgie puddle drinkers

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Nah! He was history after the Killie game. No way back after that.

Must been "even ready" to go out if they lost.

You could tell the whole thing was rushed out to appease/distract the support after another bad defeat! No photo of the gadgie with a scarf over his heid, or even so much as a direct quote from him?

Not even had time for the Daily Record to dress him up in a kilt and Nazi helmet, and print some headline about not mentioning the war.

Looking forward to seeing how many times Hibs get referenced in the press unveiling when it comes.

The supercoach shat his pants from Motherwell Jack Ross took them on for his 1st game and handed them a beat down

Complete amateurish behaviour from them as usual.

Anyone else hearing that Barnsley have asked for £480,000 compensation?

“Now Daniel, let’s run through it again... you show five fingers on one hand, and one on the other, like this.”

Edit: meanwhile Budge will repeat ‘no.1 target’ more times than BoJo says ‘get Brexit done’.

To be fair St Johnstone at home is the easiest possible start. Be funny if they don't we win

That’s probably their opening gambit. Budge will offer £50k and after a bit of toing and froing Barnsley will accept £150k.

The way they throw money against the wall, it’s more likely Budgie will successfully negotiate their payment up to £750k

I have heard that the complexities of his contract situation made him an unattractive options for those clubs that came calling, one being Sunderland - strange situation. Looking forward to watching their BBC documentary and the clown led circus that will play out in front of us all.

If I hear "High press" one more time I think i'll spew.

If there’s still negotiations ongoing over compensation, then despite the post defeat announcement there might still be a chance of this falling through? Unless Hearts have accepted what the max they may have to pay.

Is he expected to be in the dugout on Saturday?

They got a battling draw in their last outing. Will be no push over.

If we made a comment like that in one of our statements we'd all be fawning over it.

Let them have their fun. The only thing that matters is beating him now.
You have said this on a couple of different threads but I really dont see that as the case. Most people I know would find it embarrassing.
