I think both parties need to really want it and it shouldn’t take as much convincing as it appears to have needed.

If he’s taking his time considering his sweetie options and the other option is “continued unemployment” then you have to question whether or not this really is the guy for the job.

Approaching a high profile manager and being kb’d is fine as it’s better that than someone taking a job they’re not sure they really want. Hearts may be able to get this deal over the line but how long will it be a happy relationship? I’m not convinced at all.

I think it’s likely he’ll stretch them as far as he can before signing, but, given he really wants a job in England, the manager merry go round down there might just suck him in before Queen Ann gets her man.

Fair enough. But considering he has been on their radar for about four weeks, has supposedly had two or three interviews and is presently discussing fine details and staffing, you would think he is not entirely the invisible man. Maybe the affairs of the big team have lost their appeal to the media or maybe there’s not as much in the story as we’re led to believe.
