He is a strong candidate for either club. Has a good record in Scotland and although Sunderland didn’t work out, it’s not a club where managers have been doing well recently.
In my mind, if they go for him and it works out well for them while we struggle on, the board won’t be forgiven easily.

A Hibs mate says he thinks potential managers will hang on for the big Edinburgh club job... which surprised me since Edinburgh City are flying 🤔

Why is everyone obsessing over Jack Ross? one good season at St Mirren. He will be Cathro MKII at Hearts if he goes.
Dont want him anywhere near Easter Road if Heckingbottom gets sacked.

It will be interesting to see who his replacement will be - they will soon be fan owned so will be even more reliant upon FoH to keep subsidising their overspending. I just can't see his replacement being a "top name"; I don't think that they could afford that.

Think Gary Holt would be a good fit for them.

Knows the Scottish game very well, young and has a point to prove.
Would understand the size of club we are and what the fans demand.

Strange that he’s staying at the club. It’s good decision for them and a bad one as well because he’s got an unreal derby record. But just shows how timid the Hibs board are by not removing Heckingbottom

Jambos at my work say that there is some shareholder meeting that Budge was due to attend tonight. It's not the AGM but some other gig they do regularly and it's her turn to attend tonight. This morning they were saying she wouldn't turn up / she better turn up / she better sack him before the days out. Seems she knew what to expect and she obviously wanted to make tonight a bit easier for her so got shot of CL before the meeting.
when's our AGM

They’re first into the sweety shop - we’ll be along shortly getting all the same CVs.

Just when I thought I couldn’t feel any more depressed about us holding onto Pat Calderbottom.

Be interesting to see if hearts get a lift on sunday now. Their fans certainly will which in turn gives them a slightly better chance than if levein was still there. Still think rangers will beat them.

A sacked Sunderland manager would fill me with dread to be honest. Gary Holt is a rising star and worth a step up.
