Sorry but why on earth should McCann be even remotely considered for this job. Outside of Scotland national team it’s one of the top jobs in this country. Brutal - the depth of manager quality we have right now.

It's funny listening to them try and convince themselves this is only the first round of interviews. Its taken them longer to interview Stuart McCall and Neil McCann than it's taken us to sack our manager and appoint the best manager either club could have got. Shambolic club

Given the quality of the applicants McCall, Cotterill & McCann they would be as well appointing Catweasel (one for the older posters) until the end of the season.

Jack Ross was never a target for them and they have a higher calibre of applicants that they are presently interviewing for the job. If he was their number one target, they would have hired him already having sacked Levein earlier than we did with Heckingbottom.

Jack Ross got punted by them as a youth coach as he wasn’t up to their high standards.

We have apparently rushed into appointing the first guy we interviewed and the only one that applied. We are not as appealing as them.
