Peterborough are interested after failing to get him on loan last season.

Docherty signed a 4 year deal and is only half way through it.

The press seem to think he’s going somewhere in January.

Sunderland are interested and I think Jack Ross wanted him previously. Supposedly Shrewsbury Town have made an approach as he was player of season when he went on loan recently.

Not sure we could afford him / where would he play (seems to score and assist).

I think the reason he signed for us was a lack of concrete interest from down south. Hopefully not a struggle to move him on.

I think we'll have real trouble shifting some of our Summer signings I'm afraid. If they are on decent wages as reported they will surely struggle to find a club willing to match them given the likes of Vela aren't even getting on the bench. Given all pretty much joined on 3 year deals and we may have to sit tight and accept that a clear out is easier said than done.

I seem to recall he was in talks with Hull for ages but a change in their management buried the deal. That's when he took our offer as it was concrete.

You'd imagine a league one club might take him simply based on his time in the Championship. We might actually benefit from an English team largely disregarding Scottish football!

Hämäläinen certainly impressed me when we played them. Didn't know he was out of contact, could be worth monitoring.
