That picture of that wummin with her Romanov bedsheet out that windae would compliment this post poetically.
I mentioned this picture a while back on this thread but nobody seemed to have a link.

Just waiting on the South Park inspired Man-Bear-Pig scarfs - One half Stranraer, One half Partick Thistle and one half Hearts - that's proper Jambo Economics

They can dress it up all they want, but in the end, you can put lipstick on a pig, it's still going to be a pig.

Let them have their comfort blanket, their 5-1, big team, 1902, etc. everyone else knows the truth.

But a bit of an improvement surely - especially after a couple of beers.

And Hearts and Stranraer are still lying next to you.

Pray for Partick, they'll get decent leadership eventually.

I’m sure Budge in one of her early reconstruction crusades also claimed that hertz could fund testing for all clubs - but only if they remained in the Premiership. That was a few weeks before the Anderson gift came to fruition. I still think that happened by accident after the old bat let slip in her weekly Sportsound sermon that the donation had no strings attached - much to Neil Doncaster’s surprise.
IIRC Doncaster asked her to submit this in writing and it caused a bit of a stir. I’m sure budge went on a rant about it!

He did mention that it was witnessed by a n other. He wanted it in writing to ensure things were done correctly .

It was in her main reconstruction proposal document. Any decent journalist would have identified the attempt to misrepresent a third party's charitable donation as the club's own funds and the hint that the money would only be made available if a decision was made that benefited Hearts commercially as out and out corruption and it would have been back page headlines for a long time. Sadly, we have the exact opposite of decent journalists reporting on our game.

Scottish Championship clubs have rejected a proposal to permit up to 5 substitutes per game. SL1 and SL2 will both adopt the 5 subs rule. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54353395

I wonder if this is a deliberate attempt by other teams in the division to limit the advantage that Hearts' spending power gives them. It could be quite crucial when it comes to how they manage the likes of Naismith's game time.

If it is quite right. They voted the same way in the EPL.

I can sense Hearts taking an early lead in the statement league.

See Dundee have loaned a striker from Celtic. Convenient

They've assembled a side to put up a decent challenge this season actually

Probably right, especially after his team were expungulated from playing top flight football as a result of being bottom of the league
