All this bigger basic wage pish is a smoke screen. Every footballers contract has bonuses built in. Lying again. They fork out above average basic wages and now can’t afford them. Deja vu all over again. And if folk think she doesn’t lie fact check her 50% wage cut denial nonsense.

Why did Budge find it necessary to mention Hibs while trying to justify the running of her club?

She even seemed to insinuate that Hibs had a rich owner that could invest massive amounts in his club while poor wee Hearts don't have that option.

    Budge, you are utterly pathetic!

1- Your crying about the bigger basic wages Hearts pay. If you knew you couldn’t afford them, why offer them?
2- If admin comes along a second time, you must pay football debts, is this why you’re trying to reduce the contracts you negotiated by 50%?
3- League rules states they can finish whenever they choose. What could you argue, especially given the circumstances with the worldwide pandemic, that you think they’d bend the rules...again?
This is the key point our maroon chums over the road continually try to sweep under the carpet. Our footballing authorities have the power to call the league as the tables stand at present because it is the only option in the rule book to deal with highly unusual circumstances which we find ourselves in. Any other option will be met with fierce financial and legal repercussions as it would be a made-up arrangement.

Let Hearts try and take a global pandemic to court. More time and money wasted on their behalf and even more hilarity for us!

Other than Football debts, presume most of Hearts debts are due to who built the new stand
So Budge's brother will be done over if she decides to place Hearts in admin again?

Is this the same as the pre-record? Generosity of the club?? Does she mean the lucrative contracts?
It all sounds like an essay in trying to gain sympathy. She points out that other clubs have had investment from owners but slips the word "benefactors" I without revealing that they have actually rifled through millions in external investment and proceeded to mess the whole lot up.

Jeez, though she doesn't have go on. Brevity isn't her strong point.

I struggle to understand her ramblings

Did Budge not clarify things for you?

    It’s very straightforward.

    She is inept.

Reading between the lines: her 50% cut ultimatum has pissed off a lot of the players and administration is a live issue for Hearts once again.

If it was any other team struggling for cash (like every team just now) and in the relegation area, they’d just accept it.

    Wot she really said -

'The key point which I've tried to explain to the players, and I have at length discussed with the SPFA and their representatives is: no two clubs are run the same'. You see, the main reason we beat Aberdeen to sign Liam Boyce is because we lied our XXXXXXX ***** off, honestly, I couldn't believe that the Muppet swallowed all the guff we came out with - first we hit him with the 400,000 fans line (In fact, 'Size' was a major player in our talks !, Then we went on about our world-class new stand with a great view of the castle, we then went on to telling him about how much our new stand had cost but omitted to tell the clown that (a) it's not paid for yet and (b) it's highly unlikely it ever will now that the brown-stuff has really hit the fan!. After that we explained about our world-class training-facilities .................. again, we kinda forgot to mention that we can only use it once all the children's clubs are finished playing rounders, 5-a side etc !. We knew we had him when we told him of our military achievements - he genuinely believe that there's been 4 world-wars and that we'd played a major part in winning all 4 of them !. The clincher was the 1-5 game and how all football had stopped in Scotland in tribute to it and will only re-start next time we beat Hibs !

Don't bother, I'v already got my coat !

Salaries not counted as football debts. Regulations allow a club to suspend and pay off players for an insolvency event. Football debt is to football related outside bodies.

She would be best to take voluntary administration, take the 15 point hit now while season technically live. Since FOH don't have shares use their £ 2.4 million to buy club settling with the limited number of creditors, giving budge some pay off. Start next season in championship funding team from season ticket sales and some FOH contributions.

Does it not look like one of the creditors may be her brothers company who are building the stand? Imo, she has to get her & her brothers cash back before the 💩 happens. If going into admin also, any players worth anything will be sold to pay back creditors. Maybe as her brothers a Hibby, he may own the stand until it’s complete, paid for & signed off! How amusing would that be?

The amount due to JB Contracts was just the balance as at 30 June 2019. One would assume that it was all paid off sometime soon after 30 June when the new season benefactor money started flowing in. It won’t be clear until the next accounts are published.

Family takes precedence over prudence in the HMFC accounting manual one would imagine.

What is the deal with the alleged legal challenges that the rangers, hearts and unnamed others (unnamed because they don't exist?)?

Void the season - no European places
Call the season - no European places
Finish the season - at least six months before the games will be played

Budge seems to have friends in the media that seem to be putting a positive spin on things fornher. The rangers seem to be deploying their usual tactics of 'sporting integrity'.

Have the like of thistle threatened legal action if the season is called?

The police investigation into Romanov has been completed and has concluded he stole £37m from his bank. Mmmm wonder if that figure stacks up to his sporting investments in our pink chums.

So its official. They didn't owe it to themselves after all they owed the proceeds of crime to ripped off Lithuanian bank account holders, pension funds and other investors.

Is there not an SFA ruling against clubs who have won trophies using the proceeds of crimes?

The total hole in the balance sheet of UKIO Bankas was around £300 million. So only part of it. The rest where loans via UBIG to Romanov's various enterprises. Taking into account debt written off/converted to shares which was about £40 million, Hearts final real debt was £70+ million of which about £55 billion was owed and never paid back to the bank. This money went on the initial £22 million of debt Romanov took on from Robinson and the salaries of their huge squad over a number of years. The £37 million he stole was separate from these transactions.

The SPFL rules clearly give the SPFL board the power to end the league in exceptional circumstances when they like. I can’t see any grounds for any legal action. I also don’t think Sevco would get involved now that King has gone. They have enough legal problems.

What is more interesting is that 6 billion of dirty Russian money was laundered through UKIO Bankas to offshore tax havens . UKio Bankas was paid a fee to do this and these fees were likely used to fund Hearts via Romanov's UBIG investment company. Hearts funded by dirty money.
