Regular Hearts fans have pumped £9 million into their club through FOH.

Yes, their situation was desperate when they started this up, but it’s certainly food for thought when we are moaning and groaning about the minutiae of HSL, and people find every excuse not to sign up.
It's c£25m when you add in the irRegular fans.

Hearts are just another black-mark against Hecky - with the season they're having normally we'd be having a ball but sadly ........,,,

I still have a list of those they owed.

Btw my yam associates hate it when I childishly mention this when they start slagging me off.

They say it’s in the past but I love their reaction.

If that's an argument against bringing it up then they should stop mentioning anything that's even older.

With £9m over the last 5 years ma granny could've got a league 2 side promoted through the leagues and sitting above Hearts by now.

Unfortunately we have Heckingbottom in charge and not your Granny. At least she would know not to field a team of Rowan Vines.

Bumping this as I don't want to create another Hearts thread on the MB as we have plenty.

Soooo, what kinda football does Stendel play? If it's passing football I can see it ending badly, but if it's route one direct physical **** then he might be a good fit for them.

Non British/Irish managers don't have a great track record in Scotland.

Successes: Sergio at Hearts, Advocaat at Rangers, Alesio currently doing okish at Killie... Struggling to think of many more.

    Failures: A long list.

i think he’s a good appointment for them and will do well.

i also think Jack Ross will do very well for us. With Aberdeen clearly going backwards, this time next year both Edinburgh teams could well be challenging for third place.

Skovdahl at Aberdeen and Kampmann at Motherwell were billed as forward thinking European coaches....

If ever I start to doubt how weird Hearts fans are I remember 2 things.

    1. Most of them live in a 2 team city and could have chosen to support Hibs but they chose Hearts.

    2. One of them applauded an empty stand after they lost a cup final. Several others didn't seem to call this out as the oddball behaviour it so clearly is.
3 team city, Hertz are third

Paul Le Guen is another, great track record and lots of hype, but completely bombed.

Yup. Very rarely works. Jansen caught Rangers on the decline at the end of an era and Sergio played one of the worst Hibs sides in history in the SCF. They were bang average under him.

The last 2 hearts managers to win the scottish cup for them have been Foreign i think. They had that boy who was either Lithuanian or Russian in charge in 2006.

Ha, pity Barnsley, absolutely no chance up against all savvy all business Queen Budge

  29. #58
Sounds like Stendel is an untrustworthy piece of work. Talking to another club behind Barnsley's back and trying to take coaching staff too. Naughty Gerry. And to think he was mugging off the Barnsley fans by drinking shots with them without them knowing. Will fit in well at Hearts
