Can see Levein taking over as stand in when Stendal gets sacked just before the split.

They technically haven't sacked Levein or Mcphee, imagine they have to pay Barnsley compo and Stendel was a complete dud I doubt they'd have the finical clout to sack him

So let me get this straight, sack Levein as manager and D.O.F., receive no guidance from now absent D.O.F. in appointing new manager which adds "extra pressure".

Upon appointing new manager then reappoint old D.O.F. to job share with 'new' D.O.F. (McPhee), both 'new' D.O.F.'s have remained at the club - in some capacity - the whole time (but provided no guidance on managerial appointment).
