It's quite telling that our game warranted nearly five minutes of highlights on the beeb site... and the hertz game got one and a half. The best of that being the schlaff

They are clearly about to massively overpay for Boyce.
I doubt he would agree to a relegation wage drop either. Administration 2.0.

It's also quite telling that the BBC 'highlights' omitted to show Naismith's embarassing dive when trying to cheat a penalty - and his subsequent filling of his pants when the County defender got a hold of him !!

    The Yams upcoming league fixtures:

    The Rangers (H)
    St Johnstone (A)
    Kilmarnock (H)
    Celtic (A)

    Chuckle chuckle.
2 points from those 4 games means it's 4 points out of 30 for Stendel in his first 10 games. The relegation form continues. Will really miss the derbies for a season if they go down. Can live with it though.

No we won’t miss the derby!!!

I’ll take them suffering down there for years while we move streets a head of them and insure the future is green for the next 10/20 years

EEN another Scottish team looking to sign Boyce in this window also. Along with Hearts and another English team out with Sunderland who’s interest has cooled.

You have to think Hearts is the least attractive option so if they do get him they will be spending someone else’s money paying him silly wages

Yep they’ll be paying through the nose for someone who doesn’t really want to be there. Bit like how they landed Stendel actually.

They are after a Barnsley player on loan. Sibbick. Quick look at Barnsley's forum shows he isn't very good and can't get a game in a poor defence.

Probably one of the key players in Desperate Dan's desperate winless league run and he's desperate to get the old team together to keep it going.

He was a mainstay in the team under Stendel when they were getting pumped every week. Now they have a decent manager he’s trying to get all Stendel’s duds out the door.

They all deserve a second chance and the best place to do this is with the post admin second chancers, they're doing it so well.

As we all know, consistency is key.

Remember, they are unbeaten in 2020.

Stendel will be looking at the positives around 5pm on Sunday and telling his players they are unbeaten away from home all year

Aye, being undefeated until twenty past eight sounds impressive but that'll be over by quarter to five on Sunday so what will the next big achievement be?

Cleanest socks in the league in January?

    Most hilarious dive for "Naisy"?

There's not much left as they've got the permanent worst small pitch and most expensive longest delayed single tier stand sewn up in perpetuity.

    Best relegation is still on.

I was listening to Adam Davies, Barnsley's ex keeper now at Stoke, talking about Stendel. Everything he does is about the high press, so the keeper is a sweeper, in training the keepers practice with the outfielders all the time, he played guys who were naturally midfielders in defence, and only brought in players who were athletically powerful and could press for the whole 90 mins. It's the most un-Berra way of playing imaginable so you can understand why he was straight out the door.

It's kind of like Bielsa's Leeds, but without the actual winning games or being nice to watch part.

That's an interesting take as the style described is the polar opposite of everything Potter stands for. It would take two seasons to implement that style properly.

Wouldn’t take 2 seasons if you get your type of player in this window and the summer he could easily implement this

It is the polar opposite. You need to completely gut the team, unless you have that kind of athlete already. Which costs money and time. He has 16 games left, and is already 4 points adrift at the bottom of the table. It's all good viewing

Not if they're playing in the Championship he couldn't. Well he could, but he couldn't afford the calibre of player he'd need to play the style effectively.

They're off to a flying start on the rebuild. They've got the guy who only scores in cities but falls on his erse in towns and that's it so far (?).

Wonder if it'll work in the Championship.

Even fewer cities in the Championship so even fewer goals to be scored
