The journalism has been weak and pathetic with the odd exception like Bill Leckie
It's the old succulent lamb thing isn't it, not willing to dare question, apply common sense or upset anyone they have built a "special relationship" with.

Refer to Tom English, the mouthpiece of Anne Budge, for prime suspect.

Do the winners of the Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Cup not get a European spot, asking for a friend?

Yes, they go into a competition with the winners of the Belgian Bun Bakeoff, the Viennese Whirl Trophy and the Danish Pastry Pentennial Prize .

It's a prestigious, and often quite tasty, European event.

I can't understand how an employee of Hearts has the audacity to claim there is too much self interest in Scottish football when all his club are focused on is their own self interest. Why are hour journalists not asking basic questions or challenging these things?
they are fatally injured and backed right into a corner, no surprise they are lashing out. Such misguided deluded fools.

I’ve been out of the loop for a week or so, can anyone enlighten me as to where Hearts fans are getting the 70 redundancies from?

Do we have 70 staff to make redundant?

I’d be surprised if it’s even half that.

That was before we took the catering in-house, so the overall number will have increased substantially.

Will they have started yet Crops. Match day hospitality was taken in-house last season, but the kiosks recruitment etc won’t have happened yet

According to Brokeback, Tam McCourt is one of the one's who has lost his job. Spoke to a random Jambo in the street in Portobello to tell said Jambo, all things aren't rosey down Easter Rd way.

That and the their "tick tock" thread which states Ron has us over a barrel take some reading - I never knew that the maroon balloons know so much about our finances, apparently it's all over the internet

That thread his some world class straw grasping. If anyone has the time or inclination to eviscerate the financial wizardry on that thread that would be smashing.

Duncans keep yakking and Hibs get on with actually doing something.

It's a real worry that all these random jakeys are in actual fact accountants and financial analysts all of whom have access to the micro details of Hibs finances.

Do we throw the info into a wheelie bin outside the stadium daily as they seem to have new confidential information every day.

The flumps are consoling themselves with having Washington, Uche and Boyce up front next season. What a prolific strike force that is

See this is it. Ann Budge has done that well deflecting the focus from how bad they were last season that they now think the team that caused relegation are a bunch of world beaters again. It’s utterly ****ing bizarre.

4 wins in 30 games. Incredible.

Great post. They’ve totally lost sight of the fact they were honking last season.

it is a great point. I saw someone on Twitter say Nisbet wouldn’t have for a game - after all they have Uche, Washington et al. **** me - covid must give you memory loss.

And 2 of those wins came from deflected shots.

Wasn't their top goalscorer last season Craig Halkett?

Exactly. Pinned all their hopes on Boyce in January and he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo and the other two... well, no words are needed

And Neilson rates Berra according to his interview so will be good to see him back in the centre of their defence!! Hearts fans were absolutely delighted to see him kicked out, now he could be back.

Berra fits the Neilson mould of shelling the ball into the flanks so no surprise there really.
I do think they'll try and do what they did under him last time and bombard teams early, grab a goal and draw them out, having to play more forward than their game plan, giving more space to allow them chances to rack up decent scores.
Tbh our biggest drawback in Championship under Stubbs was not getting defensive teams to come out from their rigid two banks of defense, Neilson does understand that but ultimately its not a long term solution imo.
That said after their parting of the ways leading to poor outcomes for both I'd be surprised to see either of them hastily deciding to do the same again, will be funny to see hoofball struggling for the next 4yrs😁
