Taking the laddie to a thing at the hydro on thursday, checked the multi story opposite and its £11 for the time we are there, is there anywhere nearby that's cheaper?

Think it was a fiver last time I used it. 5 minute walk over the bridge. Heard some horror stories of people being stuck in multi story for over an hour. Never used it so can't say for sure.

On the street Govan Road and over the footbridge beside the BBC. You could be back in Edinburgh in the time it takes to clear the car park and get on the M8.

There’s a few streets along near the europcar on the same side of the squinty bridge as the Hydro - free parking and only a 10 minute walk away. Quick back on to the M8 as well.

If you fancy going for a bite to eat first in any of the restaurants in the Rotunda you get free parking and a pretty quick getaway

My mate parked in the multistorey for still game the other week and we seemed to get away quite quickly after. We were in the front row by the exits though so probably got out quicker than the majority of people.
    Mon the Hibs.

Thanks folks, looks like I have a few cheaper and quicker options than the multi storey

It’s easy enough to find on street parking near the ends of sauchiehall/Argyll streets. Then a short stroll over the pedestrian bridge that starts at the exhibition centre train station.

Get through early and park on the ground level near the barrier. Were going in December to see Alter Bridge and we do this every time I take the car.
