Go for a manager that’s not made the top 6 in the last 2 seasons?
Tommy Wright has a better record and I don’t want him either.

Steve robinson
He is an upcoming manager, likes to attack ,is not negative!!...
he is doing well on a much lesser budget, has an eye for a player and also the scout Martin Foyle seems to have a track record of picking gems from England !
we as a club are settling for mediocrity, where is the high press attacking football we were promised ???..
we are near the foot of the premiership, with same old excuses getting rolled out after each match consistently from our manager!.
We have gone from signing guys from Juventus,A league, etc to Forest green rovers,Yeovil,Rotherham and Barnsley etc?,what has gone wrong with our club!!

I guess he'd like to see what he can do with Motherwell this season seeing as the rest are absolutely ***** this season and he has a clear run at 3rd.

No danger people would rather hecky than Robinson. They’re 2 points off second. While we’re at it, I’d take their chief exec as wel

There’s other options out there though which is why I’d prefer us to look further afield.

You lot are aware that there was a point last season when the Motherwell fans wanted rid and were calling for his head.

Nope, let's stick with Hecky for now please. I'd never have thought we'd avoid defeat in all 3 fixtures Killie away, Celtic home, Aberdeen away.
Today we created and were great to watch at times. Easiest hat trick Doidge will never have.

Hecky is going nowhere soon. If he isacked it would be seen as a failure on L. D's part. Not going to happen.

Managing Hibs compared to managing Motherwell is very different. You don’t have the same amount of pressure. Yes, he is doing well this season. But, he hasn’t made the top 6 yet! The players he has brought in from the English lower leagues are doing well, but again they are playing for a team with lower expectations.

Expectations
What are our expectations these days?.Watching dross from a manager who has totally misunderstood our club and league!!

We were not dross against Celtic
And we were not dross against Kilmarnock
You’ve not been to any of the games have you? Be honest now.

Lots of dross teams take points off good sides, think St Mirren drew with Celtic last season before finishing 11th?, let’s not get too carried away with that performance even if it was a good result in the end.

It’s a glass half full viewpoint but if that’s how you feel then that fair enough.
As for getting carried away, that seems to work both ways.
If I have to be in one camp then I’d rather be an optimist and a fool than a pessimist and correct ;-)
