I can imagine most of the ref's would be lining up to send him off or book him without his comfort blanket of being at Celtic.
Saying that, he is exactly what we need but i don't see it happening soon or in time for us to get any decent years out of him as a player.

Edit - nvm, misread.
As A player he is probably what we do need but I wouldn't want him. Wouldn't get away with his antics here.

Good captain, but probably not manager.

When we had McGinn I would have laughed of this suggestion. I would take him now in a second.

I think he'll make a smashing manager and would be excited if he came to us. He's got a reputation for being a psycho and unintelligent but I thinks that's just an act he's a consummate pro/a winner/a leader and a guy that has an aura about him.

I’d absolutely love to get him as a player manager, but I doubt it will happen. He’s more likely to take over from Lennon at Celtic.
United we stand here....

Sounds to like Neil Lennon 2 for me!
His arrogance and in your face style would have him in the SPFL offices more than at Easter Road!
I admit I am not one of his biggest fans, but I feel we need a seasoned manager not a rookie!!!!

Might be unpopular opinion here...
I love Scott Brown. I’m 28 , and he was one of my favourite players when I was younger. Gave his all for Hibs and part of the team I seen Hibs win a trophy for the first time.
Got us a brilliant transfer fee, record between Scottish clubs to this day. Always spoke fondly of hibs and loved it here.
Always remember his last game for us v Celtic and he fought for us literally that day and scored a goal. No problem with Brown as others seem to have in Scotland

As long as he stays away from the fizzy juice

As a player, he's exactly what Hibs and Scotland are lacking at the moment.
As a manager I'm not so sure.

He’ll probably continue his playing career for another season whilst he’s probably making 10 times what our manager would get paid!!

Don't think he'll be going anywhere until they get 10 in a row

I like the idea of Kevin Thomson getting involved in some sort of coaching role. Comes across well when talking about football on the telly and has obviously played at a very decent level.

Well said. He did great for us, also donated a hefty whack back to the club as part of his transfer.
Hibs fans act like spurned exes sometimes. Get over yourselves.
