Genuinely saddened to read that. An absolute ******* of a disease that’s destroyed yet another young family.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

What an absolutely horrible disease that appears to be. In many ways it may be a relief for both himself and his family to finally be free from the pain of it.
RIP.

Sincere sympathies to everyone who knew him.
It's an illness that I would not wish on my worst enemy.
He did a lot of good in regards to raising awareness of MND and hopefully one day there will be a cure.

In 1 way, it's dreadful news as that is an inhumane disease that I wouldn't wish on anyone. In another, given how it had ravaged him the last few years, it's probably a mercy and a bit of a release from an unimaginable horror that he fought very bravely over the last few years.
He is now, finally, at peace.

It's always horrible to read about someone dying so young having bravely fought such a terrible disease.
Hopefully his last day's were as comfortable as possible and he's at peace now. RIP.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Very sad. Man had his problems with alcohol when he was younger, but cleaned up his act, only to be declared terminally ill several years on. There is no karma.
RIP

Very sad, RIP.
Played a part in one of the most memorable days in Scottish football as well - as captain too I think?

Do you think there will be a minutes applause or silence for him on Sunday, appreciate he wasn’t connected to the 2 clubs but spent a lot of time in Scottish football I’d support it if so
