New reserve league...
CELTIC and Rangers will be joined by Hibs and Aberdeen in a new cross-border reserve league with Brentford & Huddersfield
The six teams will face each other throughout the season twice, home and away, with the top two facing off in a final at the end of the campaign.
YUUUK I had to click on the Sun webpage to get that

Cross-border tournament which includes the Scottish clubs who have stopped playing in the SPFL Reserve League. Something a bit different and it would be good to think it was the forerunner of a UK-wide cup competition or even a UK league. No question Scottish football needs something to bring it to life.

Speaking of tournaments I had a Celtic fan believing no Champions League next season for UK clubs because of Brexit.

Nothing to do with unionism, just thinking about ways to add some variety to our tired old format. Not saying the English leagues are especially exciting either but mixing things up would do no harm and potentially bring some meaningful TV revenue to our game over time.
Huddersfield are a Championship club FWIW.

Hopefully it does not affect the first team budget..

Totally confused by this, did we not beat The Rangers on pens in this last week & lose to Celtc on pens today? What a shock that both those teams got late pens to help them draw with us!
