The positives - Hearts can't score and can't keep a clean sheet.

The negatives - we can't score and can't keep a clean sheet.

So I've opted for the draw, although that could be anything from 0-0 to 6-6 depending on whether the strikers or defenders have the worse game.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

I've gone for the draw, but it genuinely could go either way. They tend to shade it when the teams are even though.

A win for either team will mean a (temporary) reprieve for their manager, which no one really wants and a change of manager for the opposition, which no one really wants.

i want us to win every single derby. But there are worse ones to lose than this

0-1 Hearts. Both teams are appalling. They can score it seems though.

Terrible game, one all draw with a late equaliser for them.

It's a derby, so a win for us is "possible" - I've seen better teams than our current one lose to Hearts - anything can happen, "...form goes out the window" - probably best not to let them score first though ...

Can't see us escaping with anything less than a defeat by at least two goals.

    So, what do you think?
3-2 Hibs in a Capital Cracker.

    0-2.

If Naismith is back I fancy them for a couple of goals, we'll resort to route 1 which their defence will lap up.

Hearts are worse than us by all accounts. 2-0 Hibs

I'm usually optimistic under any circumstance, but I've lost belief in this team and manager. 3-0 Hearts

I’m guessing folk predicting hearts win haven’t actually seen them play much this season. I’ve watched them a couple of times and they’re absolutely awful. With a bit of belief in our team we’ll destroy them. Fans don’t demonstrate after games and try and storm the boardroom when things are going well. It will only paper over the cracks, but I think we’ll win.

    United we stand here....

My negative prediction is based on knowing nothing about them, but having seen plenty of us (as well as plenty of Levein in derbies in the past) I have zero belief we have what it takes to get anything out the game.

I think it's a case of having seen this movie before where we underperform in a derby and lose to them even when they're not very good.

I voted them to win. Seen it so many times, a team without a win comes up against us and finally get that win. They are undoubtedly pish, but are at least scoring and if Naismith is back he'll make a big difference.

Tbh if substituted them for any other team in the league and had the same poll I'd vote for the opposition to win. I can't see where our next win will come from while Heckingbottom is in charge.

    Win.

This one is all about the players rather than the managers. We will soon find out who wants it the most.

This. Forget it being a derby, I can’t really see us scoring a goal, never mind winning a game. And if we do score a goal, there is no danger we’ll keep a clean sheet anyway so we’ll need to score more than one to win.

If we can score first then there is a chance we’ll win, on the basis they’re even worse than us. If we go behind, forget it.

One nil them and a sending off for Kamberi after getting provoked by Naismith and falling for it.

I went for a draw based on the fact Hearts appear to be at least as bad as us. 1-1 perhaps.

Gut feeling though is we'll lose, most likely 0-1 in a dreadful game, which would surely make Hecky's position untenable.
