Hecky saying we are soft centred this guy doesn't have the right personal for me, and that's down to him and our recruitment team, our squad is full of nice guys again, tippy tappy type footballers who dont like the nasty side of the game, guys like Gray n Daz are injured after a run of 2/3 games, Stevenson n Hanlon are decent players and work hard but they're not that type either, Vela, Mallan, Allan, Slivka, Newell, James the list goes on are all far to similar and with Flo, Shaw n Doidge up top not one hard man in that group that will go through someone/drag the team through games when Its a scrap.. Scottish football isn't pretty
It's a physical and draining league, ability alone wont cut it.. for every super pass from Allan you have Mallan hiding or Vela not wanting put the boot it.. Hecky has got it so wrong, Huge 3 games ahead

They don't need to toughen up, they need to work harder at the basics when we don't have the ball, and we need a manager who doesn't constantly allow that to happen. You build performances from how you defend, how hungry you are to win back the ball, and work for each other - at the moment lack of confidence, management, and desire is hurting the side. There's no leaders on the park who drive the team, each player is within themselves and looking to another player to do their job.

We've signed poorly, we've not signed a midfield leader(s), and the middle of the pitch is like a no-mans land which is allowing opposition teams the freedom of the pitch. That is chronically bad management.

If we are too soft, and I think we probably are, then there is one man ultimately responsible for that and that's Hecky.

He's been going on about us not needing a defensive mid and the result is a powder puff midfield that constantly gets overrun and outfought.

What a difference someone like Mulumbu would make. Pity we've no money to sign a proper defensive mid now that Hecky has *****ed the money on lower league english boys of questionable quality and Leeann is spending the McGinn money on yet more infrastructure work.

I've no doubt that when McGinn moves on the club will do its upmost not to spend the money on the squad. They'll find yet another infrastructure project to spend it on and we'll get more boys from England's fourth division. It's what we do.
