Didn’t have anything to do today, so went down to Ainslie Park with wife and daughter, who is football mad these days.
Enjoyable afternoon in the sun. Felt that Hibs had almost complete dominance in the first half without scoring or creating that many chances, Spartans were a bit better in the second half yet Hibs scored 4 unanswered goals.
Probably a couple of hundred people there, though many would have been family and friends of the players. Martin Boyle was there with his wee one, looked a little downcast, can’t say I blame him.
And the £2 pies at halftime in the clubhouse were very nice, Hibs take note.
