I don't think anyone was booing the players going off or coming on.
They were booing in frustration at the manager's decisions which are increasingly being viewed as clueless.

For the record - I'm almost always against booing directed towards the team or club but I can completely get why it happened in this scenario.
I think taking Allan off was a poor decision and I think playing Allan where he's playing him is a poor tactical decision.

Yes, Allan was poor but that was due to playing out of position. Which was totally inevitable. If the manager wanted to play 4-4-2 he should have had the balls to drop Allan entirely.

To leave Vela in that role and remove Allan was crazy and it played out exactly as people expected. Vela was lucky if he touched the ball 3 times in the last 20 minutes.

Just picking that out doesn't mean it was the right substitutions. Allan should have been in the middle and I would rather have swapped Doidge for Horgan and brought Allan central.

Then, at home, we couldn't get the ball off them. Their equaliser was coming you knew it. 93 mins 40 secs on the clock and still know we are going to get done.
