    I do think most managers are a little cuter about it though.

    It’s a game and journos hate managers who don’t play by the rules. It’s not so important to keep the 4th estate onside in this day and age but it rankles a little bit with me tbh.

    Some cracking goals he scored over his short career so far - at such a young age. He’s got a ping Zitelli, Riordan, Griffiths and McGinn would be proud of.

    According to his stats for last season he was involved with the squad 21 times, after starting off with reserves and under 21s. He started 13 games, came on from the bench 7 times and not brought on once.

    He plays mostly CM but has also played DM, RM and LW. Scoring one and getting 2 assists from CM. Picked up a few bookings. Looks like he might be the runner and tackler we're missing!

    I think his last game was in March though, so don’t expect him starting in league soon.

    Said earlier this week I'd be happy to play two box to box players with Allan if we don't get a defensive midfielder, so I'm pleased by this.

    If he turns out to be useless then I'll call him Morgoth Hallberg however.

    My mate Robin is Swedish. His sister plays for AIK ladies and she knows Melker personally. Doesn't really like him as person (not bothered at that) but consensus is he has massive potential and takes a mean free kick
