I don’t know what to tell you mate. This is a world where strange things happen. Some fish fly, some birds swim and some people don’t keep to regular mealtimes on a Saturday when they are out with their pals.
I completely forgot that pies were the food of choice when out on a Saturday with pals.

Cool response though 👍 I'll probably pinch it for future conversations 😀

A 10 year deal for pies. That's ridiculous. Who in their right mind would tie us down to that long a deal for a pie. Rodders.
More like a 10 year deal for the service, equipment, staff and the "consumables". Lots not wanting us the invest in infrastructure would go appoplectic with rage is we started splurging on catering equipment and deep fat friers instead of wee Jase😋

They're £3.50 In Barbados, £4.00 In Jamaica and £4.50 in Puerto Rico.

That's the Pie-rates of the Caribbean.

Just think of all the money that you will save. You could of course buy them from somewhere that sells them and just cook them at home. Pop them in your pocket just before you leave home.

Steak pie in west upper at HT yesterday - felt like a little more gravy than before, but pie was able to lifted from casing without collapsing, albeit requiring to be held at a 45 degree angle to do so. Decent effort and an 8/10 from me.

My pie was also an 8/10. Same as every week. Good meat to gravy ratio, the pastry was solid and it was served at optimum eating temperature. Splash of brown sauce on the top and it was a splendid lunch.

Went to the ice hockey tonight. Purchased the following

    2 slushies
    2 hotdogs
    1 bottle of water
    1 cup of tea

    £7.50

Our equivalent would be double that. Although, kids wired out their nut on slushies at Easter Road is the thing of nightmares

Mid to late 1980s ... I can remember a tabloid newspaper articles saying that - Hibs Pies were voted better than Killie Pies...

Was like a scottish football Pie Table of who had the best pies... Hibs and Killie were always near the top for about 4-5 years...

Does anyone know - Who made our pies back in the 80's.... ???

Yes it was me. I've taken food into the stadium on numerous occasions. Normally veggie sausage rolls packed away in my jacket pocket. Three in each pocket as a balanced meal. Never had a problem with taking them into the stadium and I can't see anything in Hibs rules and regulations saying that you can't. Says in Rangers rules and regulations (theirs came up when I googled :"Are you allowed to take food into football stadiums" that you are allowed to take in food within reason. Covering themselves in case someone buys 36 sausage rolls from the Govan Greggs and tries to sell them in the ground.
