    Best finisher at the club

I’d say Daryl Horgan is the most clinical finisher at the club - doesn’t get a huge amount of chances from his wide position, but he sticks a good number of them away when the opportunities arise.
Is playing Horgan as a striker an option?

I'd say his being direct from wide positions is an asset for our team. His goals at Tynie and Ibrox, for example. I'd keep him wider and like to see him get in and around the box when he can which will also create space for overlapping full backs. I don't see him as a striker.

Surely Mallan. The amount of goals he has from outside the box is unreal.

Paul Hanlon doesn't miss many chances and has a happy knack of finding time and space in the box at set pieces.

    Good penalty taker too.

Kamberi for me, he goes 1v1 nine times out of ten he scores

    Finisher = Kamberi.
Striker of a ball = Mallan.

Going by this season so far its Allan

One of the most infuriating things about us over the last few years is how bad we have been at corners(barring the obvious). McGregor and Hanlon have missed plenty good opportunities in the air

That's the way I see it. A lot of folk saying Mallan and I understand why, but my interpretation of "finishing" is someone that you'd be confident of sticking away 'strikers goals.'

In the same way that Pirlo wasn't a better finisher than Inzaghi.

Allan. When he gets in a good position he is lethal.

Fontaine was the worst for that.

McGregor had a purple patch where he got a lot of joy but hasn't done as well of late.

Hanlon doesn't really stick out as much to me as having missed a lot. I was thinking less of headers but he gets across his man quite well and finds himself in position to get a decent amount of tap-ins/ easy chances at his feet. For a centre half, anyway.

Forster attacked the ball well in the opposition box, but Porteous has outstanding potential when it comes to getting on the end of corners/ free kicks.

Steven Whittaker. By a considerable distance

If we're going by a goals/shots ratio, I suspect that David Gray is pretty high in the running.

Mallan for me. Finishing is about maintaining composure and technique under pressure and he strikes the ball brilliantly whenever he gets the chance. No good being a great finisher mid way inside your own half though

I'd go for a pairing of Maxwell & Marciano up front; they haven't missed a chance all season!
