    Aberdeen away

Looking to book train tickets for this one, can anyone confirm that all the TV games are 100% confirmed and that this one won't get changed?

Only games up until the end of September have been scheduled. Probably looking towards the end of this month before October/November is confirmed.

If Aberdeen qualify for the Europa Group stages, they’ll be playing on Thursday 3rd October, so match would be moved
This fixture is a usual TV game, so I’d hold on for just now

Just noticed Sky have taken Livvi v Celtic on Sunday 6th!
Wonder if we’ll get a Friday night slot, if Aberdeen aren’t in Europe?

Booked train tickets already for this £12.10 each way singles. You can always cancel them and send them back and all you lose is the postage with LNER and Virgin.

I'm further away than Edinburgh, can I do the same with Scotrail?

You sure? Sounds like advance fares at that price and generally they can't be moved or refunded.

Hermit the resident train guru might confirm?

Your right they do say that you can't cancel advanced fares but every time i've needed to cancel they have let me. Bit of a palaver sending the tickets back but always been refunded within the week.

Pretty sure I'm on trains up early on Saturday and back late on Sunday. Can't decide for the sake of the session/seeing the game which day Id rather the game was on!

Might be a scramble for tickets. We only get 1662 now, reduced from 2000 in previous seasons.

Behave. We rarely get close to a sell out at Aberdeen.

Can't say definitively on that but Scotrail deliberately make the system they use for refund claims extremely hard to use and claims are rarely accepted.

That’s annoying. We are hoping to get up and stay over but can’t book until they are confirmed.

Only full away end in recent times, funnily enough, was also the only 3pm Saturday game on recent times. Think we had around 1200 for the Friday night game last season. A great effort and close to the new capacity. The Aberdeen away day is definitely getting more popular.

Go up and stay Saturday with an early evening train home on Sunday. That should cover all bases.

I posted this the other day then doubted myself so I deleted it. The tv games for October have already been picked so it's definitely not on TV

So do i, or at least i'm hoping, as i've just took a chance in purchasing 4 train returns at £13.00 pp for the Saturday.

Well worth doing that, especially against the very slim chance of Aberdeen making the group stage

It costs a tenner with Virgin to change them as you can’t refund advanced tickets. Been through the process plenty of times.
