He was in the extended match day squad on Sunday so hopefully that means he’s not too far away from a return

With Mackie suspended I’m sure he’ll be back sooner rather than later to avoid Whitty having to play LB. Gray presumably an option now as well but given his injury history might not want to rush him.

He's been on the lash since he thought he'd won Euro millions, but it turned out he was looking at the previous week's ticket.
Understandable really.

Can't wait until he's back, feels so much safer with him at LB, he very rarely gets skinned.

Our team looks like it needs about 3 Lewis Stevensons at the moment.
I know we really need him at LB but the team looks like it needs him at CM the most. He can get up and down the park, tackle, and should be a better foil for Allan and Vela/ Slivka than anyone else we have.

He'll be a massive boost when he returns. You don't realise how much you miss him until he's not there

Plus a few Scott Allans and a couple of Kamberis.
Horgan can sub with his clone, play a fresh Horgan each half.

Lewis is back training with the first team and travelled through to Ibrox with the team on the bus.
The team does not have the same shape without him playing and as far as i have seen in recent performances he has nothing to fear
getting back into the team.
Its good that people are talking about him again and in the right kind of way.
So looking forward to seeing him back in that jersey and doing what he does best!!

Lewis being out must surely know the doubters that we are a much better team with Lewis in it.
shows how far ahead he is in the pecking order. Miss his hunger

If it is top 4 then I think all bar maybe 3 or 4 players aren't good enough.
We have a few who when fit should be able to hold their own at that kind of level - Gray, Stevenson, Porteous, Boyle, possibly still McGregor and Hanlon.
Mackie is probably good enough for top Championship, bottom 2 or 3 of the Premier League. A good few of our players are mid-premier league at best and that is probably where we'll end up this season.
I have a hunch that Marciano, Allan, Flo if he's interested and possibly Middleton are going to have to carry an awful lot of deadwood this season as it remains to be seen how much we'll see of the "if fit" crowd.
