I guess so, but would that be reliant on someone trusting the seller to do that or them trusting the buyer to pay after receiving the details? Having said that, I understand all online transactions carry a certain amount of risk, so if you do it through a site that offers protection then I guess you'd be ok. Never bought tickets for anything from a 3rd party, with the exception of someone directly outside a gig or a match selling a physical ticket, so I have no experience of how this works. I guess online tickets are going to be the way forward and I purchased a new charging block to make sure my phone doesn't run out of juice before I get into the Scotland games!

You would think so. My entry time is 11 - 11.30am which is a bit of a PITA when you consider it's a 2pm kick off.

Hopefully it isn't the same when leaving.
What an absolute nonsense. Good job you can get a pint in the ground. Oh wait...

UEFA are/were allowing alcohol to be served at the Euros.

It was also subject to local rules. But I can't seem to find confirmation one way or another.

Is there any entertainment lined up? Even an old classic match on the big screen? That’s a lot of hanging about.

Oh god yes. And the marching girls who attracted wholly inappropriate singing from the terraces. Those were scenes we can live without now

Then there was the flute band at one of our cup finals v Rangers. Could it have been the league cup final at Parkhead yon time?

Apparently no food or drink kiosks will be open at Hampden, but free bottles of water will be give out. Glasgow Council are worried that queuing would not be socially distanced. No food or drink will be allowed in.

However, a UEFA shop will be open in the stadium.

    Wembley's kiosks will be open.

Having an attendance seems to be the only thing that's important. The attendees comfort however is of no concern. It's embarrassing.

You could question the wisdom of anyone with underlying conditions having applied for tickets in the current situation.

Not the least bit surprised. It’s always been the bare minimum to support scottish football. Would be a bit ironic if the First Minister was in the main stand given how little she and her govt have done to support football (I am not questioning how hard she has worked on overall pandemic by the way)

Is this the SG fault or a Uefa decision?

    These are the ATAC minutes:

It is unclear who has made the decisions, but since kiosks are allowed at Wembley but not at Hampden would point to a Scottish based decision. Glasgow Council or Scottish Govt?

Scotland having its own team in world football is something that kept "nationalism" alive through the 20th century. It is one area where we stand on the international stage equal to all. To suggest that a government that wants independence for Scotland wants to undermine that is bonkers.

SG are at fault for lack of any support for Scottish football. 600 fans and all that....

In terms of the Hampden match I would be astonished if UEFA have made the decision to restrict all of this, this will be part of the signed off SG and SFA proposal to get as many fans in as we are allowed.

Meanwhile Murrayfield can have a non essential friendly match next week with 17.5k, just like that.

There have been some big turnouts in Hyde Park for England games in recent times. Dont know what the plans are this time as far as covid is concerned. There were 30,000 there for Englands World cup semi final (clips on youtube)

Don’t think there’s anything planned. No big screens or anything like that

Glasgow was in tier 3 when they first announced and then cancelled the 600 fans.

If Edinburgh's rates were high and there was pressure on hospitals in the area I'd expect the crowd for Murrayfield at the end of the month to be much reduced or even cancelled.

I also wouldn't consider playing a European Championship game in Glasgow to be any more essential than the Lions playing the first game of their tour as UEFA could re-locate it which they did with the Champions League Final when they found out that their top brass and sponsors would have to isolate if the game was played in London, having already moved it from Istanbul.
