Because the decision is correct, why don’t people get this?
So as long as the correct decision is made by the new 'ridiculous rules' then it's ok? Never mind that it's took all the joy out of moments/celebrations. Celebrating a goal is the best feeling at a football game and VAR has basically ruined that. If you want an emotionless game but the correct decisions, then by all means that's great. But for me, it's spoiling the game.

It hasn’t though has it? It’s a goal unless shown to be otherwise, he way people go on about it it as though they stop the game for a review every time the ball hits the back of the net, regardless of circumstance.

Rod Petrie coined the phrase sporting integrity, which is what VAR brings to the game imo.

Lol a computerised tv replay system doesn’t bring integrity to the game at all, I think you need to understand what integrity means.
In any case VAR has already been used this season when reviewing a penalty that never was yet the decision wasn’t overturned by it!

Great to see the Wolves players applying such a high press and chasing down the United defenders without giving them a second too long on the ball. Hope Hecky has tuned in!

Much better performance by Wolves in the second half. Looking at the United bench tonight there wasn’t a player who stood out as a game changer. If they allow Sanchez to follow Lukaku out the door without bringing in any replacements then it could cost them in the long run.

Don't think they can bring in replacements unless there are superstar players who were available when the window closed

Exactly the way we should play.Obviously we’re nowhere near Wolves standard but there’s no reason why we can’t get in the other teams faces and harass them- except we would need to get fit and stop making pretendy tackles and try and get the ball.Wolves are playing a simple game- everybody back when necessary, making progress on the wings with ample support out wide and fighting for every ball.A bit like the Wolves of my youth in fact.

More efforts should have been made when the window was open

He didn't this time actually. He just hit it at a nice height for the goalkeeper.

    Opinions eh!

I wonder who's opinion Scott McTominay wishes to listen to most. His manager, who obviously sees McTominay as an important member of his team or someone who makes an observation whilst watching a few games on telly.

I'm sure someone said to me that he scooped up many of the fans player of the year awards last season, not that there would have been much competition last season. Also, McTominay was praised by pundits and reporters for his contributions in Champions League matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona last season.

To me, he's a "Fraser Fyvie" type player. He's not your "John McGinn" nor "Dylan McGeoch" nor "Scott Allan" type of player. I watched some of last nights game and I would describe him as tidy but unspectacular. He always looked for space being the "outball" for his defenders and then looked to pass for someone further forward, the players who are more likely to cause damage to the opposition. I thought he did that well last night and in the few Man United games that I've seen on TV. That role is not going to get many neutrals raving about the player, but it's an important role the way most teams wish to play football. Is he as good as ****e (the Chelsea, ex-Leicester player) or Henderson, probably not. Is he as good as Scott Brown and Vela, definitely yes.

My own personal opinion is that if Man United want to become the best in England and compete in Europe then they need someone better than McTominay. That said, he's only 22 and he will only get better in my eyes.

He'd be nowhere near the Man City or Liverpool team. That's the difference
