You must not have much faith in your team for next year - settling for finishing just a point ahead of the team currently in 5th!

    Wycombe promoted to the Championship.

They started pre season with 9 players on the books, amazing turnaround.

Also the interview with Akinfenwa is brilliant, some character he is.

Wycombe were eighth in the league when the season ended early

With games in hand and a better points average.

Great story. Ainsworth not only looks cool as fk and a champ man hero but a top manager. Good luck to them.

    Arsenal keep Aubameyang.

    Torreira gets a season in.

Two new centre halves, maybe only one if Saliba shows what he has got. Keep Ceballos, and RM wouldn’t have loaned him without a sale in mind.

Another kick-on from Saka, Willock, Tierney, Nketiah, Maitland-Niles, Nelson having another season’s development.

Covered at keeper, covered at full or wing backs, probably covered in centre mid and covered up top.

Arteta is constructing a team. If Arsenal keep Aubameyang or can somehow replace him like for like, and get one, maybe two decent central defenders, then they are surely back to challenging for the title.

Maybe put a challenge in for top four but nowhere near a title challenge.

Another big win for Cardiff at home to Derby. They are away to Neil Warnock's Middlesbrough next.

they should win that and their last game home to hull, the play off's should be cracking games and would have had huge attendances, thankfully leeds won't need to worry with the play-off lottery this season

I wouldn't bet against Warnock at the moment. He's doing what he does best!

Did you know that Neil Warnock is an anagram of Colin Wan*er?

To be deducted at the end of the season if it relegates them, if it doesn’t then it will be deducted at the start of next season. I’m sure that’s what I read.

    It's the other way about.

If they finish outside the bottom three (which they will now) then the penalty will apply this season, if they had been relegated without the deduction then it would have been applied at the start of next season.

It's going to be close, they're currently 12 points clear of the relegation places, albeit with a massively better goal difference.

Win their last two games and they are safe, even 4 points will probably be enough.

2 games to play for Wigan. Against 4th bottom Charlton next which they must win and then finish up against Fulham who will hopefully be protecting their best players for the play offs.

Charlton are only a point above the relegation places. They play Birmingham tonight. They will be in deep trouble if they don't win tonight and then Wigan beat them.

Luton are probably the biggest danger to Wigan and Charlton. They play Hull next and then finish against mid table, nothing to play for, Blackburn.

It's gonna be tight for Wigan but it is still in their own hands given their superior goal difference.

It’s this season Wigan have misbehaved, they should get the slipper for it this season.
League two Macclesfield don’t know even know now which league they will be playing in the EFL next season (if they still exist) due to a fudged attempt at sanctions which were imposed on them for failing to pay wages. Several times. Might sound familiar. Bury were allowed to die after years of mis-management, Bolton were handed a reprieve. Bury perishing created another space. National League clubs didn’t know who was going up, who was coming down as there should be 2 up and down and that triggered on to the next step in the pyramid. The step below that was voided.
English football is as screwed as our game, it’s got nowt to do with Covid and the whole ‘club hiding behind Admin‘ thing gets my piss boiling.

watching swansea score with a penalty at forest, the penalty taker starts his run then stops just a few feet from the ball, the keeper is already starting to dive then the taker starts his run again placing the ball the oppossite direction, i thought they had stopped this patter

You are allowed to stop in your run up to the ball but you can't fake the striking of the ball.

Wigan haven't misbehaved, I don't even think they have any debt. This isn't a hearts situation at all. Actually suggestions that the owner has put them into admin because he stands to gain a lot from them getting relegated due to large bets placed.
