I prefer that stance to the one they took at Falkirk a few years back which was utterly disgraceful.

As long as you don't disrupt the silence for those who do want to show respect for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, then you can do whatever you want during that minute as far as I'm concerned.

I don't really understand not wanting to observe it but we live in a free country. Failing to observe it by not showing up for it and going out of your way to actively disrupt it are two very different things.

Sadly respect and good manners are on the way out. As long those that don't wish to pay their respects, respect the wishes of those that do, that's ok - freedom of choice. Main thing is there are folk who still understand, appreciate and remember the sacrifices our forefathers made for our freedoms.
