Injury permitting, Robertson for Taylor and McTominay for Jack will probably be his team come the playoffs. He might find a place for Charlie Mulgrew right enough and might play Tierney at right back.

Asked earlier but how are Israel in it?
Because there’s other teams due for the playoff that have qualified automatically so as they came second in our group they get drawn in a random pot and not like Scotland who’s at home first and path is more clear.

Jeez nothing like rewarding failure. Qualification process is a mess

Not for me. He chose not to be there. Unless he can play centre half.

Wales qualifying for yet another major tournament, bloody brilliantly 👍
Fantastic for Wales and for Scotland as it will give the Scottish support a team to follow in a major tournament along with their normal ABE.

Robertson and Tierney should both go on the left as interchanging left back and left mid. They're good enough to make it work.

    Liverpool, my thought exactly.
Makes so much sense to replace Milner or Keita with McGinn.
Like Kane replacing Benzema at Real

I wouldn't be putting Robertson or McTominay back in. They can GTF.

Robertson is world class for Liverpool and bang average for Scotland. If he was better then he might have the right to pick and choose when he turns up. I think having such a half-arsed captain has a negative effect on the whole squad.

Taylor was excellent tonight and we had an entire team who were up for it and wanted to be there. I think it would ridiculously harsh to see any of the players who did well tonight drop out for players who have questionable levels of commitment and don't have enough of a track record playing well for Scotland to suggest they can just choose to pitch up when they like.

Totally different second half. We played with pace and urgency.

Where has that been in the last few campaigns.

I know size wise they are half our population but they have quality running through their team. Ramsay and bale are world class and James and Wilson are fantastic prospects. Now why can't we produce players like that. Too many poor coaches and others only interested in winning trophies and not developing players. Love watching Wales play and the passion from the team and the fans. At least we can support another team at the euros if Scotland and both Ireland's don't qualify.

I'd say if man u or arsenal go to £60m he will be away. Both teams are crying out for a player like sjm. So proud of him and his demeanor. Just a totally class act. Altogether now we've got mcginn, super John mcginn. The rendition at tynecastle is spine tingling.

Think excellent is stretching it. Palmer looked ropey at first goal very poor pass.

Are Scotland guaranteed to meet either Serbia or Norway in the final if they get there? Can’t see past Serbia tbh.
Think Norway are improving and probably better than Scotland at present. Saw most of their game away to Sweden few months back and they looked good and should have won but couldn't score the winner. Will be 50 50 game with the Serbs imo.

Norway also have Haland who they seem to be using sparingly just now probably because of his age but we all know he is a talent and a goal scoring machine

He was excellent IMO, albeit it was his poor pass that led to the goal.

I'd prefer to focus on his many positive contributions than focus on the one negative.

Behave yourself. Robertson is is our best left back . Scored a screamer and with better players around him , we have a much better chance of qualifying.

It's worth pointing out Robertson also travelled to show face and be with the squad for a few days during the break even though he was injured.

Also likely not fit to play tomorrow.
