    Jason Cummings going to them.

According to Wikipedia Jason Cummings is now a striker for the Yams.
Surely not. Have only heard rumours, but nothing of substance.
Is this some jambo tampering of Wikipedia or do any of you know something?
Personally, I would not like to see him over there.

Anyone can edit a wiki page. Doesn't mean anything.

Barry the crappy journo from the EN tweeted categorically yesterday I think that he would not be joining Hearts.

    Probably means he is.....

The best way to deal with the fear of him signing for them, making us feel sick, scoring every derby and scoring 20 goals a season... is to sign him ourselves!

What is doing the rounds is he is being considered for a call up for Australia. Aussie grandfather apparently. A mate in OZ said it was in the papers down under.

Mum was born in Oz apparently? Hasn't played a competitive game for Scotland so he can.

I can’t be decide if Jase at St J is needed right now by Tommy Wright, like a hole in the head.

Or whether TW might be the man to get Cummings to “screw the nut” and get a grip on his career.

    It’s a puzzler......

Can we close this thread now or change the title? I imagine it's giving a few people a bit of a scare.

Might as well close it, he’s not going to the Duncans.

They were after Stevie May so they clearly want a striker, maybe there’s something in it.

I hate to be one to start a story but a good friend of mine works for Luton Town and last season management regularly had to go along to the hotel Cummings was staying at to get him out of his bed to attend training. He was on the lash every single night according to the staff at the hotel. Another good Scottish footballer who lost his way.

I find that very hard to believe

If his life, be that professional, personal or both has gone off the rails a bit then I hope he gets himself sorted out and gets his football mojo back. He's obviously a bit of a loose cannon at times but his OTT personality was a huge part of building one of the best relationships between fans and players I can ever remember at Hibs. He absolutely loved a goal against Hearts as well.

On a football level I'd take him back but I wouldn't be too upset if it didn't happen. I watched him for Rangers a few times and he looked a bit out his depth. His football intelligence is quite limited imo albeit he makes up for that with his ability to score goals and work hard.

If that were true he’d surely just have been sent back to Forest. He was only on loan, and was barely playing.

    Doesn’t sound likely.

I could see him at Dundee or Dundee United. No info, just a hunch.

For me this is one we should be trying to get back in at ER. On loan initially and then possibly on a free next season. It a no lose signing for us imo.

Either would be a good move for him just now I think. Get him back scoring regularly again.

Both managers have experience of playing or managing against him and McPake played with him briefly too.
