Tip of the iceberg in England I think. Lots of championship clubs selling their stadiums etc to get round FFP rules. It’s not going to end well for a few clubs.

Remember going to a pre season friendly on the Thursday before the Oldham game. Only 23 Hibs fans down that night.

I used to go to Gigg Lane regularly with my father In Law before he passed away...very sad great wee ground and a nice club.

The Man Utds, Liverpools will always be ok - also the conference, the Vanarama etc "know their place" and cut their cloth accordingly.
The big issue is these clubs that get a decent amount of dough from TV, but not enough to satisfy their fanbase (league 1,2 mostly)
Lots of entitlement among English fans as well - laughing at Scottish clubs (Aberdeen playing Burnley last year classic example, they treated it like Aberdeen were some village league club rather than one that actually won a European trophy) its like they dont understand that the huge sums of TV money simply flush through their clubs and into the pockets of players.

Bury were one of the powerhouses of English football when the Football League was created. However, it's a very small town, meaning their fanbase will always be tiny. Just down the road Bolton Wanderers have also been on the brink. It's a shame for such a football mad part of the country.
