    Tour De France

Looks like Egan Bernal is going to win at the age of 22. Nobody will ever know how yesterday’s stage would have panned out if the stage wasn’t cut short, but Bernal looked the strongest climber

Julian Alaphilippe has been great entertainment, but a very lucky man to still be on the podium.

Today’s final mountain stage has also been cut short so it will be fascinating to see how it all ends. There will be attacks from the 2 other guys with a podium chance and Alaphilippe will have to try and defend his position. I fear it will end in tears for him but what a tour from a guy who is not noted as a climber.
It’s been the best tour to watch for years

I remember a mountain stage being cut short when bjarne Riis won - it was carnage as a straight couple of hours.

They were all on epo, mind, so maybe it’s different now.
