Another rotation by the looks of it. Will be interesting to see how the midfield trio of Vela and Malallan shape up.

Hopefully a good enough team to get the 3 points.

Worried its very light tbh, should be winning none the less!

Looking forward to seeing Vela, Newell, Jackson and Maxwell play. I've yet to see them.

Good to see Allan starting to!

    .…...…….......Maxwell..................

    James....Jackson....Hanlon....Mackie....

    ....................Mallan...................
    ...........Vela.............Allan.........

    Boyle.................................Newell....

    ..................Kamberi..........

Horgan, Doidge, Murray, Shaw, Mcrgregor, Whittikar and Marciano on the bench.

Starting to take shape and look strong, especially considering that’s not including Grey. Porteous, Stevenson and Slivka.

. Would still like another centre mid, winger and striker in however.

Some amount on Vela to deliver.

We've already agreed that kind of language won't be tolerated here.

Wonder if this means Shaw will start at Elgin seeing as he's the only one of our 3 strikers not to have started a game in the league cup matches?

It’s probably the way we will set up this season.

    It's a 4 3 3 if u had seen how shocking we were as a 4 4 2 on Sat u wouldn't need to ask this question

    4-3-3?

Hardly a defensive formation and the one that our manager seems to prefer.

You just have a pop though.

Times have changed. Playing one striker isn’t a sign of playing defensive or safe. It all depends on the service that one striker gets. We are effectively playing three attackers with an attacking midfielder behind them.

Seen it as a good attacking formation - front three of Flo, Boyle and Newell.

Make sure you get here early, only a few turnstiles open and queues are already building up, unless they open some more.

Could easily be a 4231 formation which I would like to see trialled.
Vela and Mallan as the two, with the opportunity for when we are in possession, for one of them to spring forward to support the others.

There's a high chance he will have left the club by then.

Ticket machines aren't working with barcodes. Going to be a few not getting in on time the way things are going.

Of course everyone will have taken heed from the slow entry into the stadium v Alloa...and will be already in the ground, 'insert smug smiley'
