    FTFY game

I've seen a lot of posters trying to be comedic or making points by using the FTFY device to alter a post they're quoting and its meaning.

For anyone who doesn't know, FTFY stands for "Fixed That For You".

There are a lot of clever and funny people on hibs.net so I thought it might be fun to play a game using that very device.

    So the rules;

1.You quote the immediately preceding post.

    2. You add to it or change it in a way which alters meaning, preferably making it amusing.

    2. You then comment on the new "fixed" quote.

    Get stuck in, folks.

Good for you. That's a brave thing to do, living as you do, in a rural community.

There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Yoons win for me, and while I’m at it I’m sick of this pretence that I care about recycling and wildlife and protecting the environment. I’m away to chuck some BPA-concentrated bottles at dolphins.

You might need to read the rules of the game again, J.

While we are here, what does NHC mean? Can we not stop abbreviations in fact?

    I can't follow simple instructions
    Hmm, that's not so good.

Try reading them a couple of times and maybe ask a close friend or relative if your understanding is correct.

I don’t play by the rules.

I play by my own rules.

And I don’t even play by my own rules, because I don’t play by the rules

    (Shamelessly stolen from Family Guy)

In seriousness, I will re-read the rules because it sounds like a potentially good and rich thread, wouldn’t expect anything less from you D, but I clearly read it wrongly, so apologies for that .

I think we need a couple of successive posts that show how it is works properly and we will be off and running.

Can you start another cricket thread on Other Sports and spare us the sanctimonious, long-winded waffle on the Holy Ground please?
    I’ve got it in hand.

I’ve got it in my hand.

Has anyone else’s evening had a happy ending?
Funny you should ask, as I’m home alone tonight and decided to have some garlic prawns. One of them had a head shaped just like a boob so without delay I tore the head right off it.

Has anyone else had a delightful prawn?
