    Finished his career at Benburb and is currently Manager

    He had not a bad career in the lower leagues

    The game was in 1977. Scotland won 5-4 and watched the game in the Gold Medal bar opposite the Commy Pool. I was 18 then...… Rae was outstanding and I thought wow we have a right good one here but the lad never really kicked on. Shame.

    I'm sure Lovering had really bad injury problems which held him back? Guy I know that supports Airdrie still goes on about how good he was with them.

    Sam Stanton. Best player on the park in a 1-0 victory over Celtic a few years back.
    He got burnt out in that season.
