Managers tend to overly praise opposition players only when their own team has won. Levein wouldn’t have said a dickybird if Cowden had got a result. Patronising bar steward.

Managed to have a good chat with Alan Combe at the Hanlon Gala Dinner, and got onto the topic of Dabrowski. A lot of promise, but still quite a distance away from being a contender for first choice. This loan will do him good.
